Casio Dreams, the Treasure Valley’s ultimate 80’s tribute band, played Tuesdays on the Creek at Indian Creek Plaza in Caldwell. On this picture-perfect evening, they pushed us to the “Borderline”.

Canyon County Symphony

The Canyon County Symphony (part of the Music Association of Canyon County) presented their “Triumph Over Fate” concert under the direction of Dr. Nick Harker in the College of Idaho‘s Jewett Auditorium. There is just something about being in the same room with a full orchestra.

Bounty Hunters

Bounty Hunters played some get-out-of-your-chair music on Country Night at Player’s Pub & Grill at Westy’s in Garden City. This band loves to see people dance, and they know how to make that happen, even if it’s a slow dance.

Dylan Anitok

Dylan Anitok (pronounced DYE-lan), a local singer/songwriter, played some light favorites and a little Gospel at the Salt and Light Coffee Lounge in Eagle. Let’s see if you know this one from King Harvest.

Tejano Outlaw

Tejano Outlaw, a tejano band based in Canyon County, played the Cinco De Mayo celebration for yet another year at Indian Creek Plaza in Caldwell. The members are Anthony Antunes vocals and bajo sexto, Joel, Garcia and Accordion, Robbie Quintana on bass, Emilio Huerta on drums, Leo Barba, percussions.

Day Job View

Day Job View, the married duo of Lanae & Rase, played a mix of oldies, rock, blues, and original music at Indian Creek Winery. Here’s a song Lanae wrote years ago called “Mystery of Her”.

 

Harry Dial

Harry Dial, a Boise singer/songwriter played some acoustic music recently at Jak*s Place in Nampa. We heard many familiar favorites, and “West Memphis Love”, an original.

The Soulmates

The Soulmates, even though they’ve been around for 10 years, played Talon Tap & Spirits for the first time recently. This versatile quintet played a ton of pop and country music, including this one written by Bruce Springsteen.
